Every time I go for a walk after dinner in my neighbors there’s a shooting a couple blocks away. DC crime is totally out of control.

Wow! Guess I'd quickly skip those after-dinner-walks. In my neighborhood here in Chile, crime went up, too, including homicides but I can't remember having heard gun fire at few blocks distance.
This randomly got me thinking how yesterday my wife saw a woman shoplifting… *vitamins* in Target. The tactic was to smash into items, put them back, and pocket one each time. A very odd scene 😅
