Some thoughts on Asian content in Nostr.

Japanese notes are mostly short, such as "I pooped", "My sister pinched me", "Life is pain", and "I am a tree", which may lead to thoughts of AI. The Thais have more interesting notes. There's more life in them and you can see they're written by real people. Chinese or Arabic notes are generally low quality, consisting mainly of political propaganda or spam. Overall it looks like Nostr is only being used there because of Bitcoin.

In general, Thais in Nostr are pretty much Thais in X. The only thing missing is celebrities.

Japanese in Nostr are very much worse than Japanese in X. The quality of content is 100000 times lower. Only technological topics help a bit.

Chinese and Arabs are sources of bullshit and spam. At least when they're not writing in English. The situation is the same in X.
