Fees are relatively low now. I think I can now finish setting up lightning on my new node. Quick couple of questions:

1) Are there any other fees I need to worry about besides opening/closing a channel and sending BTC on-chain to fund?

2) Who should I open an outbound channel to?

3) How do I get inbound liquidity? Do I have to worry about any fees for anyone connecting to me inbound?

1) there's no other fees

2) a mix of large nodes and small nodes, imo

3) ask on nostr, the nodestrich telegram, use magma on amboss, but the best method, imo, is to use lightningnetwork.plus liquidity swaps.

I’m currently looking into an LN node. Do I need to open to other channels even if it’s for personal use and connecting to my LN mobile app?

Yes. You need to be able to send and receive payments. You can't do that without several channels at least.
