5-htp is very useful. I like to sleep 😂
It helps me regulate my mood. I find my depressive cycles to be less deep if I'm constantly taking it. It doesn't eliminate them fully, but it helps.
I will say with the caveat that everyone's brain and body chemistry is different. So, what works for me might not work for others. And unfortunately, experimentation is the only way you're going to find out.
