The amount of new Nostr Plebs spinning up Lightning nodes and opening channels has me incredibly bullish on not only Nostr's future, but Nostr's future as a Value for Value community focused economy.
If you've ever wanted to spin up a Lightning node, now's the time. Bitcoin is *cheap*. That means that you can open girthy channels on the cheap.

I haven’t opened new channels for a while. Maybe I should find a peer or two here to set up some channels.
If anything should be inscribed via ordinals on Bitcoin it should be instructions on how to Bitcoin, how to LN, and how to nostr. And gun printing files . . . and ammo reloading instructional, and how to cook . . . and chicken raising . .
NGL im working on getting LN set up again because of nostr. That and I want to play with LNbits again.
I spun up a Node a while back but only had one channel open and got no flow. I closed my channel because I was having trouble with my Umbrel Node. I can’t get a Tor connection anymore. I’d be down to open a couple of channels if I could get some action on it. I wanted to learn but first try didn’t result in anything. Any ideas what might be going on with my Node? Do I need Tor?
