Got the download. Amber? Is that in play store as well?
pause. π
you can snag both 0xChat and Amber on nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8
Downloaded Hextra? And appverifier. Appverifier is saying zapstore not found. Confused.
Visit the nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 profile and download the file listed in the profile Bio area. Then install the APK. You may have to enable third party app installs. You may get prompted to do this. Then you can install anything from this third party store built on Nostr.
Ok, I have it installed. I have to set a totally new profile? π
add your nostr nsec to amber. amber is a key signing app. kind of like a bitcoin wallet. it holds your key and allows you to make transactions, signing events. then after it's entered into amber, open 0xchat and tap the amber login button. you'll get a popup in Amber asking you to authorize permissions. alternatively, you can also just enter your nsec into 0xchat if you didn't install Amber.
I got it installed. Is this just another client? What am I missing?
I believe it to be a gateway to supporting development through zapping apps and developers. Maybe version or feature voting could be a roadmap milestone... I'm just guessing, but it seems to be more nostr native if that's a thing?
Does amber support offline signing yet, like the bitcoin PSBT qrcode offline signing devices?
Hmm. No, but a client would have to generate the QR code for you. This could become extremely tedious.
Right! Normally after each button click... But not if the requests are batched... My amber just updated itself... It looks different. It seems to be grouping different types of signing events. I like the granular approvals! It makes me feel like I'm "in control" even though I have no idea what it's doing... LOL.
Hmm. You can do that now if you use Amber and Citrine. They only hiccup is that your replies only live on the local Citrine relay. You'd need to manually broadcast them each individually once reconnected.
I guess my use case would be for spotty or infrequent internet connections... I could download all the new nostr goodness, disconnect, go out into the wilderness, do my reply guy routine, come back to civilization, reconnect, and batch upload/approve all my notes/replies/signatures/whatevers...
Ok, here. But this just seems like another client.
Itβs easy to use. Step 4. Play with Cashu wallet.
You were supposed to send π₯s π€£π€jk
I'm new here. The rules state plainly that you're supposed to set me nuts brother! π« I don't make the rules. π€·
0xchat me when you got your wallet setup and Iβll slap you some π₯s to test out.
Should I use default mint? Or ..?
Largely up to you. I didnβt think we have to be on the same mint but I had an issue with a non nostr:npub1tm99pgz2lth724jeld6gzz6zv48zy6xp4n9xu5uqrwvx9km54qaqkkxn72. They couldnβt redeem it.
