If the lightning network is a second layer for the bitcoin network, could we consider nostr a “third layer” since it utilizes the lightning network? #asknostr

Mehbe if you are looking at it like the OSI layers.

But even then, nostr would be on the same layer as pocasting 2.0 apps and http in general.

No, it just uses the lightning network for zaps but is not build on top of lightning. Nostr works fine without lightning.
