I can't wait for scammers to copy these DMs and have people pay bogus invoices π
Yes it's inevitable. BOLT12 fixes this with subscriptions.

I started to draft this. Very raw, however I think subscriptions can be embedded into apps - and be visible, transparent, show upcoming, etc. bolt12 May help make it better too, but Iβd still rather manual push payments anyway.

Of course manual is better but as Gigi said it's very easy to get used to hitting zap and get scammed. With a subscription you only need to be careful once.

Just want to say we thought of this, we arenβt totally careless.
1. Our #[4]β bot has a nostr.wine NIP-05, easy to verify.
2. We donβt send you an invoice, we send you a link to our site.
3. You can go directly to nostr.wine and ignore the link instead. We could remove the link completely if phishing becomes an issue.
