For the curious, this is where I’m taking these pics from. Motovun, Croatia. I often do a morning lap along the top of the main city wall and get a gorgeous 360 of the surrounding valley. If the weather is good I can see all the way to the Adriatic and occasionally even as far as the cranes in Venice shipyard across the bay.
