It's sad to me that the apprehension so clearly has gotten in the way up to this point. If these lawmakers had been paying attention, they would know that adoption is only a matter of time and so should be eager to be first.

That said, I'm not at all surprised, as most lawmakers are strongly beholden to the winds of politics which until recently were staunchly against Bitcoin.

Now to watch and see how the Bitcoin incentives kick in and affect the state apparati.

New Hampshire very recently signed into law their alternative investments bill, of which right now the only "crypto" that qualifies is Bitcoin.

I predicted in my book Benefits of Bitcoin, found at http://fikatimebooks.com , that Bitcoin makes governments competent and trustworthy. Politicians will gradually be compelled by their electorate relative to their interests in Bitcoin, to make pro-Bitcoin choices, or they'll be voted out of office or their section of the government will lose legitimacy in some sense, and lose their power.

I love the nature of reality. "You don't break the law. The law breaks you." I decided and continue to choose as best I can to love and accept and study the nature of reality, and the God from who it emerges, because integrating and ensconcing myself in it, reduces suffering and pain to zero.

Watching government people gradually come into line with Bitcoin as truth money that is born of reality is a beautiful phenomena to behold.
