This is what I’ll be doing - it’s works great every time.

I’ll be mixing some mascarpone with whipping cream to have the consistency I want. (You can add a bit of sugar if you want)

Dip the ladyfingers in coffee. And set up the whole thing.

One layer ladyfingers + one layer cream until I finish.

You can also search for original recipes that are done with eggs.

Forgot to say that you have to let it rest in the fridge for about 6h.

Then for serving, you can sprinkle some cacao powder on top.
