so what exactly is this? saw a picture of one a while back.
A wallet from Block, nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m company. The hardware component is part of a multisig setup, with your phone holding a second, and block holding the 3rd.
The theory is it will make it easier for people to hold their own BTC, while minimizing some issues, like key storage, and recovery.

The only thing I don’t like is how Bitkey holds the third seed for you. Put me on the fence automatically.
I'm not sure this will be a long term storage device for me, but I'm interested. I want to see how it works, the recovery options, and how easy it is to use.
I think it might be a good option for people who are unable to keep keys safe. I have lots of friends who can't keep track of their passwords, Lord help them with 12 or 24.
