I have always preferred pencil floats. Weighted until the float almost sinks by itself. Reduce that friction.

Fishing for what most consider bait fish here. Table fish for us. This is a telescopic pole by the way. No reel. Very rarely see anyone fish with them these days. Was far more popular with the oldies (especially Greeks) 20 years ago.

Bait is about 8ft under. 6lb fluorocarbon leader. Size 12 hook. No weight near bait as I like a bait that sinks more naturally. Actually using a heavy ballbearing swivel just under the float as the weight here.

Burleying every ~30 seconds with about half a teaspoon of breadcrumbs and a squirt of tuna oil for flavour. Good way to get a feed in many parts. #fishing #fish #hunting #hunt #sendit
