I think we understand how greenhouse gasses work. CO2 is not a very powerful greenhouse gas, but greenhouse gasses increase global temperatures.

I care about sustainability, the environment, and pollution. Couldn't really be arsed to shout at clouds and debate global warming, but this is silly imo. Feels like counterculture just for the sake of it. Corny.

It's usually very dangerous when humans say "we understand how it works" if we can't yet replicate those conditions accounting for ALL variables in a repeatable experiment... no we don't know... we think we know... humans also "knew for a fact" that the Sun revolved around the Earth for centuries✌️

If you want to eliminate all emissions, and give Earth a chance to heal itself, then learn about the Gravimatrix project.

Think of the consequences of becoming capable of controlling Gravity and having at our disposal field propulsion technology.

I don't want to eliminate all emissions?? I want to use resources sustainably. If you consume faster than you can generate/produce, if you throw away faster than it can break down, that's a recipe for disaster.. That's debt driven.

The planet doesn't need saving... it's been here for billions of years & it will be here for billions more, even if we disappear...

it's humanity that needs saving...

want to help humanity?

Plant tress & buy #Bitcoin 🖖

Yeah, that's fair.

Climate change is cyclical because there are no feedback loops in nature. Everything mean reverts.

Nature is sustainable, free markets are sustainable, centralized policies aren't.

These guys are all oxymoronic. Debate their existence, fine, but if society consumes and pollutes unsustainably, and then you see the results, why debate the causation of the results?

I don't care, it just not sustainable and not efficient to consume negligently. There's no economic incentive to be wasteful.

Unfortunately the Fiat Standard incentives do reward these bad actors & blatant liars... the Bitcoin Standard will change the incentive structure... so yeah, #Bitcoin really does fix this bullshit👌

Deductive logic suggests that water-vapor would be the actual leading "greenhouse gas", since the Earth is 70% covered by water... and what controls the water-vapor cycle (evaporation/condensation/precipitation/collection)? Not humans, folks... the Sun🌞

I've been saying this about water for like, nearly 20 years. They are blaming carbon to sell contracts with the government for tax breaks and tax allocations for these boondoggles, like wind power and solar power. Neither of these technologies are anywhere near as efficient as coal/gas/oil/nuclear.

And they are now doing this also to Nitric Oxide and Methane because these are two gases released by meat animals poop, in order to enable them to get big tax breaks to make synthetic vat grown meat.

Again, neither of these technologies are even vaguely more efficient. The amount of energy required to produce solar panels and wind generators is greater than the devices ever release in their average lifespan. The amount of water and energy required to manufacture artificial meat is at least 5x what is required for grass fed beef (and note, grain fed beef is less efficient than grass fed)

Everything that is going on in the world right now is completely against nature and economics and thermodynamics.

Spot on! 🎯

Once upon a time cigarettes were not bad for your health too.

There is corporations who have been lobbying to promote these ideas, who make a lot of money by making contracts with the governments to capture massive amounts of tax revenue via manipulating the laws.

You are very naive, like most people in the West, and it's gonna be sad for you when you are in the stampede when everyone wakes up and realises you are all being led into the slaughterhouse.
