Seriously though, if you've got somewhat difficult hair to cut, you notice a difference between proper salon and a discount Supercuts type of job. I've tried switching many times, but it's no contest

Maybe I have an odd head shape, or hair type, but even my relatively simple cut comes out visibly worse when I've tried great Clips (or whoever James works at) shrug

Barber > Salon Artiste for men's hair. When I was younger I went to salons. It was always crap. Once I found a good barber it was way better. Someone focused on men's hair only will do a better job at men's hair, it makes sense.

Man I went to a barber shop that has been around longer than I've been alive (probably not). The owner is older than stacey. One of the barbers has been there for over 10 years. I got a haircut from him the first time I went and it was not great. Went back recently and he is still terrible. But so many people love him and I think it's because he's just a cool guy and makes good conversation. I guess that matters more than looking good to some people 🤷♂
