Big brother has gone to a lot of trouble to convince the masses that fame is something desirable and worth seeking.

Yeah, put all your inner thoughts out there and tie them to your identity. That can never lead to you being exploited.

Anonymity will always be my primary goal.

I agree that fame should not be the goal of any action. However, I think it is brave to attach your identity to your ideas. If that may bring you harm so be it. In standing behind your ideas you are brave. It is not a matter of fame or glory, in fact I am often criticized and prematurely judged for my ideas, it is about caring enough about something that you are willing to let it affect your reputation.
