Monero will inevitably keep rising, steady and organic. Not based on religion, speculation. It is based on the fact that in all of mankind's existence except the last 30 years. Private economy has been private by obvious reasons (mainly theft). We also have..

All the fundamentals of evaluating an asset, market size of capital in offshore, transactions that are done outside the tax system, from your local foodtruck to your carpenter friend, to the local drug dealer etc.

The future plans of the elites. Cash free society and CBDC.

Normie's are mindblown every time I show them how to setup a wallet and I make a transfer and explain to them that no one have a clue about this transfer.

The monero community is very paranoid, idealistic and sceptical in it's nature, it is a project that is very hard to corrupt. Some may have a status, but no one is king. People in this community know how all others projects have been corrupted, by bribing or extorting the authorities. All playbooks from successful and unsuccessful majority attacks have been played out.

If there is hope for humanity, it lays within decentralized structures of people who hate authorities..

Have you looked into Cashu yet?

I like what Cashu is doing and I love all good forces in the community that are fighting the right battle.

I'm basically pretty agnostic, even though I would profit more on one coin than another today. I consider privacy as a struggle for humanity and anyone wholeheartedly participating in that struggle deserves glory and anyone fighting these ideals (the right to privacy) deserves defeat.

What do you think of Zcash?

What I have heard is that viewed sololy from a state of the art technical perspective, zcash have some innovative privacy features.

- I have been long enough in the IT space to know that, it is sometimes better run with the tested and proven tech and not the latest release.

- The people and money behind, the "community" if you could even talk of such (it seems very closed). Kind of turns me off, the pump and dumps of a few people and their involvement with organisations I deem problematic.

- The real adoption as p2p payment use is not really there. Instead focus have been turned on the acceptance on the CEX as an investment object instead of a medium of exchange.

- The optional privacy feature seems to only account for a small fraction of the transactions. Which is kind of worrying, for the future as a privacy coin if this feature is hardly used, it is also easy to remove.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. Very helpful. Interesting that the P2P adoption is low.
