I THINK ITS VITAL ESPECIALLY WITHIN THE GOLF TOURS BAR THE PGA AND LIV TOUR.. THE STRUGGLING PROS NEED TO BE EDUCATED ON BITCOIN AND HOW IT CAN SAVE THEM.. FIAT CURRENCY AND INFLATION IS KILLING THEM WITH COSTS SOARING AND PRIZE MONEY VERY LOW.. #BITCOIN
How would you go about it? Like having all spectators pay into a prize pool? So the money funnels to the athletes as opposed to sponsors? But it costs a lot of money to put these events on so how would all the behind the scenes people get compensated?
WHAT I THINK SHOULD HAPPEN IS THAT EACH PLAYER HAS A QR CODE SHOWN BEFORE THE GAME - PEOPLE CAN ZAP THE PLAYERS PERFORMANCE SO THAT THE RENT SEEKERS CANT TAKE THIER RIDICULOUS FEES.. SPONSERS SHOULD ALSO PAY EVERYONE IN BTC.. WE NEED TO REMOVE OURSELVES FROM THE CANCER OF FIAT CURRENCY - STAND UP AND SAY NO..
That's actually a really cool concept. So everything else would stay the same, this would just give athletes a better opportunity to make money for their efforts.
Playing devil's advocate though, wouldn't the all-stars take all the zaps and the average pros who've worked so hard to get there would get less because the rent seekers would notice that this concept exists. It would be kind of what occurs with Waiters in the USA where their base pay is ass because the expectation is decent tips.
I think it would actually do the opposite.. the lower level teams and players would get supported directly from their die hard fans..
The Ronaldo’s and Tiger woods don’t need the fans zaps - like bottom “level” players will get zapped..
Where I wanna help in my country is the people who live completely off cash - zapping would change their life..

Nostr is essentially like this for micro influencers..
I really enjoy the fact that people can zap when they enjoy your content and vice versa..
I really wanna get more people into this space because there are so many people who have talents that can get paid rather than waiting to get onto the YT and TikTok payment plans…
Absolutely. I'll say this, I'm a writer I've been on NOSTR now almost a year. I stopped posting my writing to Medium and substack because I felt I was trying too hard to play a game hitting the standards and metrics set by those platforms.
While my writing hasn't gotten a tidal wave of zaps on Nostr, I still think this is a better format for writing online. I'm just not sure many people visit nostr for long form articles just yet. It almost feels as if it turns people off?
What do you think?
I must be honest - I’ve read a few articles so even someone who exclusively uses this as his social media platform..
It will definitely take off within a few months max 12/18 months..
I still think this platform will be the biggest in 5 years..
People are tired of bullshit on the social media platforms..

Im in Medical IT sales. Yea, thats exactly right. I love serving others and getting them the solution they need most but so many people have a mental block on sales people because of the bad ones out there.
I hit a slump towards end of 2024.

Sales people are viewed as snake oil salesmen unfortunately..
Real estate agents where I’m from are exactly that.. hence why I left..

In the grand scheme of things the money they are paying is really small if I’m honest but people with fancy titles like to make things far more complicated than it really is…
