Not European: but, polls.
That is client dev ser not relay dev
Lol 😂
Also why translations on relay side?
But, you know, this would have been a good event for a poll.
Our social feed will have polls because I love polls. 😂
Clarification:
- translation would be optional translation, when i request it?
- content filters would be proposals, I can choose to activate clientside?
- proper nostr verification is NIP-05?
- yes, ofc
- relay setting, you can configure it on nostr.land page when it releases
- more than that, alongside your nostr.land NIP-05 you get a verification badge, and there is a manual check to know you are human and not an impersonator of someone else
I think, I would never use the translation, since I want to be in control and prefer copy paste to always know the original language of the note.
Content filters I personally rather like to do on client side.
Human verifyable badge would be great. May I ask, what mechanics would verify, if a user is humain or not? Which tasks can not be done from machines today nor in the next 10 years in order to verify a user?
Translation is optional, and would show you both the original and translated version.
Requires translation support on client
Content moderation can only be effectively done on the relay side, but, it can be configurable. Clients have never done proper moderation
And it’s basically a combination of heuristics and the cost of getting a set of bots working with Nostr.land verification
Thanks for the explanation. This implementation with original and translation I will probably think of using.
Yes it is true. Can be a very good thing to implement. Maby I just already familiarized with the lack of content filtering, that I do not feel to need it. But maby really important since many people are sensitive and will drop if contentfiltering fails. When I think of it even I would probably use it to filter reported propagandists pushing false information.
I just recently did not know if a user was bot or humain. And the only verification I could think of today was to request a private chat in Simplex, since it is something I can not imagine any currently available AI is able to do this task. But I assume in a year or so there will be AI widly used that can do this.
So would there be a thing, AI can not possibly learn to do, in order to verify human?
Not european but gm and #3 I think but what does proper nostr verification mean exactly?
Ok thanks. Thought it was more like protocol adherence feedback. Then I'd switch to #2. Also I'm not a customer so I'd defer to them. Just interested to see Nostr work the best it can for the most people.
Europoorians love compliance

1 is coming
Semi being literally Batman. Again.
Prioritizing verification first though, alongside an interesting feature 🤫
It’s going to be I hope the last step before I get your NFDB deployment up
Also I decided against a UI for now. API only management for you :)
I do not see the demand for enterprise hosting yet, so deal with it 🤣
SmartCache will probably use manual rules with data-driven recommendations, btw. Usually copy everything works fine until you get to 50GB+
Then you copy the popular ones and the last month.
Yes, every community should have reliable verification for its members, and Nostr.Land is no exception. Glad you're on it. 🫡
This :110percent:
2 & 3
Good morning 🥰
Good morning! Honestly I can live without those 3... But if I have to say one of them then number 2. Any other features you are working on?
gm EU!
Let’s get translations first—so I can ignore nonsense in every language.
Verification? Cool, can’t wait to trust randos with a lightning bolt. ⚡️

Some kind of verification (as an artist to jnow this is my official profile) but I still ateuggle attaching pucs, I am never knowing where they go up and the default option ne er works for me now. Like I would like to know there are not stranded files on internet.
