Light long-sleeved clothing and pants and a large hat will protect your head and provide shade for your body. Start the day early and stay in a shady spot when the sun is at its highest.

You can also protect yourself from sunburn with coconut oil and aloe vera gel (only SPF 10!). Almost all plants have an SPF between 4 and 10, so a raw plant-based diet can really help your body from the inside out to convert sunlight into beneficial hormones and vitamins instead of burning you. That's my experience. But always do what feels right for you. You are your best advisor! If someone is afraid of cancer and feels like the sun is making them sick, then they should feel calm and confident with sunscreen... instead of feeling stressed. Because stress also makes you sick...

Oh wow!! That is awesome!!! Well best preparation is giving your skin sunlight every day...But I understand...It's a very different situation...So just do what you know is best for you.

Thank you! I have been experimenting with less sunscreen this year, much to the dismay of the misses. I'll keep tabs on you for more tips!
