$25+ seems to be consensus (holy cats), in which case I saved $75 this morning by cutting my boys' and my own hair. You can buy a decent electric clippers for $40 and break even halfway through your second haircut. Then toss your hair in your garden and deter some pests.

I have paid for a haircut once in the past 25 years. I cut my kids and wifes hair. My sister is a hair stylist and she says her avg female client spends $120 US per appointment
