I worked for the Vatican indirectly (their unofficial media arm); power, sex and money. That being said, the problem extend far beyond the Catholic Church. Academia was further corrupted by a whole other bunch of control hungry groups.
Everything is corrupt within in this system but I want those vaults to be opened up. They confiscated a lot during the transatlantic slave trade and the genocide of indigenous people. It would be cool to finally have our history back
