Same thing I said to the OP I don't think they are doing shit other than linking apps and you sound like a jealous bitch. Nice to know so we can ignore you.

EXHIBIT B:

Latestage and Bugle boosted the show the other day and I noticed this on this platform.

False advertising. Latching on to PC 2.0

#3 is also a Fountain Boost

I think there’s a misunderstanding about the difference between a zap and a boost. Until nostr starts to widely implement splits in the zap, boosts are superior. If you zap a band or podcast, all the sats go into one wallet. If you boost it from a podcast app, those sats are divided into all the wallets in the split. The guitarist, drummer and bassist each have their own wallet and don’t have to worry about splitting a common wallet like a zap does. There’s a fundamental difference in the underlying mechanism that is obscured when someone boosts a show from Fountain and it’s counted as a zap.

The button in Fountain does sat "Boost". Is this all just splitting hairs? Maybe but we have been calling them Boosts and sending them the same way for 4 years.

AlbyHub uses Nostr why aren't those Boosts counted?

I don’t really even care about the name. Honestly, I’m a little jealous because zaps on the lightning network is a great name. But the splits being built into the process is so crucial; that is where I draw the distinction. The splits are an open, auditable contract that all parties can view at any time and all apps respect. Once zaps have splits, the naming won’t be a big deal, at that point it’s all marketing.

the fact is who pays must have nostr wallet connect to make an easy split
