I've been thinking about getting a sythe. Are they local to you? Let me know what you think of them after a bit of use!

I wouldn't call any of these a scythe.

The 2 smaller handle ones are sickles. Really good for cutting back clump grasses like Lemongrass & vetiver grass as well as grass near seedlings & things that you want. The 1 with a thinner blade is actually serated which I've never seen, let alone used. The other is great & is a backup for another that I use frequently.

The long handled one I call a reaping hook. I don't really have much of a use for it but I think it would be good for cutting away dead banana leaves. It was just too beautiful to not buy 🤣

I played with scythes for cutting long grass but my stihl brush cutter is just no match. I have a blade lying around that you're welcome to. No handle though.

Well a reaping hook is obviously for reaping!! 😎 I bet it's epic for the banana leaves. Also that's for the quick lesson on the names of blade! I had no idea. Honestly thought they were all scythes 😂😂👩🏼‍🌾
