BlueWallet can do this.
Phoenix too, I believe
I still recommend BlueWallet all the time for on-chain. Cross platform, pretty easy UX, power user features in the settings.
It’s too bad they discontinued Lightning support
They didn’t discontinue Lightning support.
I see… how does it work now, you have to remotely connect to an existing LN node? Hard to recommend that setup for new users
I explained what they did in the note below.
BlueWallet never intended to run a custodial service forever and the costs and risks of maintaining one were beyond their capacity.
For users who don’t run their own node, they can still connect other third-party services like Alby and LightningTipBot with it, so it functions in a similar way to all-in-one custodial wallets like WoS. They just don’t provide one directly or recommend a specific one.

Got it, thanks for the explanation. I still think it’s asking too much of a new user to configure separate on- and off-chain wallets. Hopefully in the future they can move towards a Mutiny or Phoenix like model.
I don’t know what their plans are, except to say they didn’t have the budget to build a scalable Lightning service provider last year, and they wanted others to step up and offer one. I don’t see it as a major problem, since BlueWallet is great at what it offers for on-chain features, and Lightning as an option for anyone who has 5 minutes to read a guide on how to connect it.
Yep, I totally respect the decision to discontinue the custodial model. It’s still my go to recommendation for on-chain… it’s great for beginner and advanced users, and it works on all platforms.
But not having out of the box Lightning makes recommending and onboarding more complicated
It’s an opportunity to educate. You can do all of the same things BlueWallet offers on Lightning with Zeus and also get an instant LND embedded node on setup. The difference, of course, being that self-custodial Lightning requires an initial deposit of funds into a channel before it will work.
Meh… most ppl don’t want to learn all this shit on day 0.
If the use case is stacking/hodling, I still recommend Blue. If it’s having fun with zaps and LN, I usually recommend Phoenix.
But Phoenix can’t receive zaps and you still have the same setup obstacles of having to make a large initial deposit.
Green
Nunchuk
Green has this option. It's in App Settings at the very beginning before you create the wallet. You change it afterwards as well.
Android:
Samourai Wallet connected to your dojo server installed in your Umbrel OS for best in class privacy transactions and coin control. FOSS and the team is unapologetic hard core libertarians
Bluewallet connected to electrum server for on chain transactions, some decent features and FOSS.
Phoenix for LN does the job very well, FOSS as well and IMO beat in class for lightning network, just open a big channel the first time, so you don't have to pay high fees for channel capacity every time you do a bit higher transactions, most people don't do their research and wrongly state the fees are high, not true, they just don't know what they are doing and therefore use Phoenix as if it was any other non custodial wallet like WOT
