I feel like there could be a client that, instead of choosing follows, your feed is always global and you can only hide authors you don't like.
That doesn't mean they are muted/blocked on all clients, they are just not displayed in that specific feed.
That maybe be something for the video feed on Amethyst. 🤔
Such a feed would be overrun by porn unless it was restricted to relays that moderate against such content.
