Mine was disgusting slop. I ate it once and was horrified. Couldn’t finish it and I’m not a picky eater. Hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever seen / had.
I'm not saying it was premium quality pizza, but compared to the rest of the meals made in the school cafeteria it was in a class of its own. We looked forward to pizza Friday's
It’s all relative or in Bitcoin speak “the cleanest shirt in the dirty laundry”.
I’m jealous you had serviceable pizza but I was a sack lunch kid too so school lunch was a luxury. But I learned quick that it all sucked worse than what I brought.
I got school lunches when my family qualified for the low income discounted lunches. But I also put in my time eating PB&Js, a huggie drink, and ziploc bagged chips over and over
Good times. My family qualified for the low income free lunches at times in my life too but I hated them and my mom thought it was healthier to do the sack lunch so almost always stuck with those.
2) and I was born in 88 .
Although, when we had pizza day, it was literally the best thing ever. As the pizza came from Little Cesar’s and the pizza back then from there was really the best thing ever.
Millennial, 3 but everyone else seemed to love it
It was so inconsistent. 4th-8th grade it was phenomenal. I lived for that shit. High school it was dogshit 90% of the time and I can’t really remember any earlier.
Even when it tasted good though, it definitely was not “good” for you.
Yeah I should have worded it better. What I want is thoughts on taste, not nutritional value or concern over seed oils (though I've a hunch they may have swapped out a prior ingredient for vegetable oil)
