Maybe instead of asking ‘what brought you to #nostr?’ We should start asking, ‘what would make you stay, contribute more, encourage others to join #nostr?’ I will start this #welcome

It would be a game changer to filter out the horrible spam -I'm talking gore- if not by a SFW feature, then at least limiting the #content to users you follow. I'm still trying to recover from some of the images on here. 😭🤮

I agree, I have found a decent workaround for the global feed:

I have my global feed filtered to only display notes from the relay wss://nostr.wine

which does a great job filtering content.
