It does work pretty well, even with a request sent from Lantern.

Other people can blast your notes to all relays under the sun too and you have no way of knowing that it isn't happening. This is true even if you include the "-" tag.

For all we know, backups of much of the Nostr ecosystem might be in construction. In fact, I think we need such archives.
