Primal's caching happens entirely server side, then the client only has to read from the caching server. If anything, this practice should reduce the amount of data used, since the client isn't requesting notes from multiple relays and likely receiving a lot of duplicates.

Could be. Not sure how Primal handles that. I imagine it's really bad if auto-play is turned on, but not sure how much is downloaded when it is turned off, or if it waits to fetch the media until the user hits play in that case.
