How does one start to fast safely?

I get hunger headaches by the end of the day.

Usually I skip breakfast, often lunch too, but by dinner time I am ready to sink my teeth into a live buffalos ass. No need to butcher it.

Stay hydrated and make sure you are getting electrolytes. I do 16-18hr fasts a few times a week and do longer ones left often, longest I’ve gone is 48 hrs.

Longest I went was 12 days on a liquid diet with no solid food when I was an unhealthy teenager. Lost weight fast. Almost died from the stupidity. So fasting has always been scary for me to try again.

Ill have to look more into this. I need to do it safely this time if I try it. At the very least I will cut some of my food costs down. So there is that benefit too during this greater depression.
