Jetlag flying east always gives me a couple of nights where I wake up around 1am and have a random amount of time to catch up on podcasts. It is what it is... nostr:note134dqcfkzqjg2qpw53zw8znefjwqwjuzwhasfcc008ezcwjzpcsuqw9pa78

Jetlag is a crazy thing, flying to Mexico from London was not too bad, one nights sleep and sorted, whereas coming back and to with the clocks going back, daylight hours suddenly being three hours shorter too - it’s a right killer, does strange things and I was waking up at around 3am thinking it was time to start the day

It's much easier (for me) to go to bed super early and wake up early when going west. Staying awake when tired is easier than falling asleep when not. Though not aren't great for health.

They always say, keep going until you’d normally go to bed so daytime flights out to the Americas are probably easier and then back on a night flight if possible. I hate sleeping on planes though, don’t know how people can - pretty sure it might depend on which part of the aircraft you sleep on though, if travelling economy, which for me that’s always the case.
