ai assisted development is just so damn good right now and it's only going to get better as time goes forward. it's wild.
Absolute madness.
Back in May, I started experimenting with vibe coding to build a few things. At the time, I thought it was only capable of handling simple projects. I couldn’t have imagined how fast it would evolve—leaping forward every single month. Just six months later, it’s already capable of building products with complex architectures.
Watching AI code grow at such speed while working alongside it has been genuinely astonishing. I feel that vibe coding might be the best way to truly understand AI intelligence—by coexisting and collaborating with it. It’s like having a mentor: it works for you, tirelessly and without complaint.
LLMs are bringing a kind of democratization of super-intelligence and building power. Everyone now has the chance to harness the strongest “brains” and construction abilities. Anyone can easily turn their ideas into reality.
It’s a truly blessed time to be alive.
Its wild. At work and even in side projects I have time to do things I've never had before. i wanted to do confirmation of payments in my game for so long and I did it last night in about 3 hours.
I don't know anything about coding (except what I learned in computer lab decades ago). And I've recently started using AI to write a python script to analyze a spreadsheet with a lot of nuance in the data. It's helping a ton! I'm now looking for more ways it can help me!
What extra value is it helpful for? Can you share context. I love learning about these things
The time required to check this data (manually compiled by someone else, using no formulas) is more than I can invest each week it's produced. So, this script checks for errors in the arithmetic, looks for specific problems, and even proposes possible solutions.

I have always struggled with this particular batch of data, it's not an output from a database... it's a bunch gathered info from a dozen other spreadsheets. So, this gives a much better and faster analysis than I could do.

What’s hard to figure out: how will software have any re-saleable value?
Ie why will people still pay for software products?
If it’s so easy to make a bespoke tool for any problem to face, why use another’s service that doesn’t fit perfectly?
My hunch: it’s now about blending physical with digital. The defined reality of nature, and the scarcity that goes with it, combined with bespoke AI built software. Eg a logging business

Vibe coding AI is like the future beings of Interstellar. They have vast, unrestrained knowledge and capabilities, but are incapable of focusing it to relevant endeavors.
