Monero is not a perfect solution either. There are less people using it & there are still ways of linking on ramps to spent amounts

If bitcoin had a "monero space chain" or "monero drive chain" (taking the speculation out) would you use monero?

I agree it's not perfect either. It has it's own problems. I just think it's a better tool for a specific job. But no tool solves every task.

Onramping thru CEXes is not a problem unique to Monero. That applies to any crypto. Buy P2P noKYC to avoid that.

Ya I would use a Monero drive chain if it gained adoption and didn't have any serious tradeoffs.

But at that point you might want to just go some fully ZKP tech (without the issues of Zcash)
