Chatper 1: trying crypto for the first time

I consider myself a fairly early adopter of new and usefull technology. As a kid I was having arguments with my dad on the usecase of gps navigation (I won that one dad). However, I did not see a use case for crypto. Due to lack of knowledge. Then an article appeared saying it is now possible to send money across the world feeless. That got me intruiged. So I set up a Nano wallet to try it out. User interface was horrible but managed to buy yhe coins on an edchange and send them to the wallet. When the price rose I swapped it for a voucher and considered it a succesfull test!
