Not Sure: Why are we slowing down?

Frito: ...[they] -Turned off my battery.

Imagine the state being able to make smart cars lose power, and automatically pull over.

This is where we are.

This could be my fave scene, Dax nailed it!!

Also the end speech, where "reading isn't just for fags" is almost too good

But then there's the Dildozer scene...

I dunno, too many to choose from!

There is this joke circulating for at least 10 years that one day historians and archeologist will see this movie as a documentary about our modern society. And everyday we are getting closer and closer to it.

💯 possible. Another trap..add CBDC and 🐑 are cooked.

Almost every scene in that movie is a tight work of art.

Also: It's extremely hard to find this movie on most main stream platforms. I can't imagine why.

Mike Judge is brilliant. love that movie

Yes and yes.

It was fumny when it came out, now its a horror movie

Onstar, which can remotely disable and listen to conversations inside cars, debuted in a production car in 1996. That is 7 years before the first American Prius, a decade before Idiocracy was released, and 12 years before production began on the first Tesla. People blaming electric cars for surveilance in cars don't know history, understand cars, or understand surveilance capitalism.

Sorry nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka if that isn't what you meant to imply, but I see that assumption alot and it is a pet peeve of mine.
