This will not happen. What will happen is bitcoin iou just like gold iou. The poor will have no real bitcoin and the rich will write the laws so only they will legally be allowed to use it...same shit different network. Only way around it is anonymity and privacy which btc devs refuse to implement.
This is kinda how I see it too. It’s more important now for everyone to start stacking to have the underlying.
