I'm seeing more people complain about the increasing price of air travel lately. Purely anecdotal but it seems like the joy of long-distance travel is becoming unattainable for a lot of people. If there's one thing that has shaped me growing up it was travel (and adventure).

Traveling is one of those things that immensely enriches people. Especially young people traveling get unique opportunity to see the world as it is. To experience people and cultures and realize that people in general are good and that there is lots of fear propaganda everywhere around us.

Making travel more prohibitive for people will make them more scared, tunnel minded and easier to manipulate.

So sad. I'm disgusted from the current state of the world.

Yes, agreed. It opened my mind so much when I was younger and I made connections with people from all around the world. I started just before social media was becoming popular so I'm thankful I got that opportunity. Travelling pre-internet would have been a different experience altogether I'm sure.

What’s your most impressive trip?

Honestly, I really couldn't say. I've enjoyed so many places at different points in my life and/or with different people. Very hard to say. What about you?

I think, Tibet. I have never that indescribable feeling after the trip.

I am not a travel person so now mostly business trip.

Somehow I feel I should pick up my ability of talking with different people in travel after you mentioned it will bring growing-up 😃

Ah Tibet is on my 'to visit' list and you're reminding me that I need to begin making that happen before it's too late! :)

I fly all the time for work. Intercontinental half a dozen times a year.

Prices are absolutely out of control, I can attest.

It could be that 20-30 years ago flying was more expensive on average, but at the same time you could always find offers. Always.

With algorithms, trackers and big data that seems to be over.

Yeah, I hope the golden age of travel isn't behind us but the way things are going with the economy and the push to net zero it feels like it is.

It absolutely is and it sucks.

Fully agree, world travel really changed, if not saved, my life. One of the real life changing things I've done. I fear my kids may not have the same opportunities to do it.

Yep, I hope the golden age of travel is still ahead of us.

It's enemy action. Somebody wants us to stop traveling. Globalists are a mean and jealous lot.

I'm not one usually for conspiracies but I do think there's a concerted effort to prevent people from travelling for environmental reasons.

Agenda 2030 isn't a conspiracy theory, it's a disgusting conspiracy fact.
