Any advice for a small, indoor, potted rose bush?

This thing seems to need water every day or two, gets plenty of sun, and continuously makes new blooms.

It’s a bit wild, and lovely, but the leaves keep getting a bit yellow and falling off. Thoughts?

i was told that yellow usually means too much water? but might be a pH thing with the soil?

i should note im not a plantologist and dont have a green thumb. i just garden and some stuff grows and others is a challenge

Thanks!

They like LOTS of sun, probably less frequent water, maybe every 5 days or so. You can poke some pieces of banana peel into the soil for nutrient. That might help with the yellowing

Cool, it’s in a south facing window, top floor.

I was watering it every 3-4 days and the soil was getting extremely dry, flower blooms dying quickly. Seemed too thirsty.

Might be root bound? Soil drains quickly and moisture gets consumed fast.

Will definitely dry the banana peel, thanks!

It could need repotting, it's hard to tell plant/container size there. But yes, try some banana or other potassium source. Yellowing rose leaves in usually nutrient or overwatering

Thanks, that’s a big help!
