Initial Q is about Nostr zapping.

nostr:npub1dgpt04w4c88wc0g262xaw8zvlm4mvwtmjhl0tn2sxtyjywsn6q4qt8ka3a asked about how to incentivise people to zap more. imo first is the liquidity. If you have sats scattered across different hot wallets, it would be nice for a Nostr client to do that seamlessly. Today as far as I know, and I use it, Alby allows to connect multiple wallets to make that onramp/aggregator across wallets possible.

Am still in new on Nostr and using Alby, so any clarification will be appreciated.

At Alby we believe that sats should be ideally at one wallet that then can be connected to different apps and used in different use cases. For example to zap, or in podcast player, or on the go with a mobile wallet.

With that the onramp should become easier as you only have to do that once for all apps. We build the Alby Hub for that as a wallet.

And I agree the most complicated thing is still to get the first money into lightning.

I agree with all of this, I earn sats in a few lighting wallets, and all is invoiced over into my “main” wallet by hand so that I may spend and receive from one place. (kinda like checking the couch for coin then putting them in your pocket with the rest)

If you must send from different wallets how much easier do you need it than the handy list attached?

As for bringing liquidity into the lighting network, I have only relied on custodians to provide liquidity into the network like bull Bitcoin or Wallet of Satoshi. My experience in finding a way into lighting has taken more time and effort compared to actually moving & spending.

What app are you using? That’s helpful.
