Kid asked why I wear the same shirt every day?
It’s true. I rotate a black shirt every day. One less thing to think about.

Steve Jobs did that, right?
So I heard. Smart man.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against fashion and trends, as long as they don’t touch me 😂
although I subscribe to the capsule wardrobe, which is a trend in itself. my understanding was jobs actually didn’t wear the same thing everyday, the iconic look at keynotes was a wardrobe decision from Ives suspiciously about 6 months after this album came out.
Love it.
Apparently, each day we have limited decisions we can make and removing dressing-up out of the equation frees up brain power for more productive stuff.
Ask Steve Jobs
From the moment he started talking, my son kept asking me about everything until he was 10 years old now. Children were always curious and wanted to learn.
But you wearing the same color shirt like that is worth asking. LOL
I do this as well. Funnily enough just earlier today a coworker asked why I wear the same plain black shirt every day! I mentioned the same thing - one less thing to think about in the morning - but also I refuse to become a billboard for corporations by wearing their logos and brand names.
If a clothing company gave me a dividend or a kickback for wearing their logos, I'd consider it. As it stands now though, I choose to not become an advertisement everywhere I go.
Plus the color black matches everything and looks smart.
Monks do the same with their robes. One to wear and one to wash.
Doing the same and quite pleased with it. Though I have black and white shirts 😃
Thing I did not figure out yet is what to wear in colder months consistently....
This is a life hack!
Steve Jobs mindset 🔥
Like Einstein did? Smart 🤓
That's how Ian Malcolm from the Lost World book dressed too! Only grey and black socks so it never matters if you mismatch.
I tried it for a couple years, but people kept saying I looked dreary. I ended up buying long sleeve baseball shirts in different colors as a compromise.
The same, but different.
