Yup.
I thought it was nuts, but I knew how the vote would turn out because I've got teenagers at home. 😂

It is nuts. Giving a vote to an individual that is extremely self centered (and this is developmentally appropriate) makes absolutely no sense.
Ok Boomer.

With that reasoning, very few people would be able to vote at all.
I very much disagree.
Here in the US, I really do think we need to go back to only those individuals who own land should be able to vote.
And by own land, I mean paid off and not financed. That will slow down almost everything and keep the political process working as slowly as possible, and would also have several other side effects that would be better for everyone, IMO.
That would mean all the rich people like Katrin Göring-Ekhart and East Asian immigrants get to vote, but most working class and middle-class people don't.
Wokeness and commieism would go off the charts. 😬
and thus we see why the keynesian statist economists kept pushing this idea that renting is better
you'll own nothing and be happy
Bitcoiners are really bad about this, too. They're always pushing the idea that we'll only own Bitcoin as property and roam the world as economic nomads.
Hmm....
I'm pretty sure that in the US it would push back to a more conservative/slower roll.
I know you live there, but I'm not particularly concerned with Germany since I'm not going to live there. 😎
Well, as general rule, we - people living in neighboring countries are concerned about Germany 😅
But yeah, if the greens finally start to loose ground it can only be a good thing.
You're neighbors. You should peak over the fence once in a while to check on things, for sure.
I would like to move towards countries minding they're own effing business and not falling all over themselves to tell every other country on the planet what they NEED to be doing.
I disagree. Not being able to afford land shouldn’t block you from voting
Not being gifted land or not being fiscally able and responsible enough to buy land SHOULD bar you from telling those that are to pay for your preferred BS.
If everyone "should be allowed to vote," then all taxes on property must cease immediately.
Greens:
We are going to make everything expensive, woke and gay, send you off to fight the Russians, force you to compete hard for jobs and housing, have the government spy on you online, and spend all of your income saving the planet for the sake of children you can't afford to have.
Young voters like, Uh... nope.

Also have this teens here 🙃
Btw I am trying to contribute to nostr with hubstr.org - added you to the vip-10 list on the homepage. It's early WIP but maybe you could take a look and share your thoughts ... (second btn doesn't work 🙄 ) - then thanks
Saw nostr:npub1m4ny6hjqzepn4rxknuq94c2gpqzr29ufkkw7ttcxyak7v43n6vvsajc2jl's repost, took a look at the site. It looks pretty polished! Color theme and navigation feel natural, and it looks good on mobile.
My 2 cents is the "Why you need Nostr" value proposition starts with a negative. I'd suggest leading on a positive note. Talk about a shared online identity—that you control—across any number of sites and apps.
The calls to action are solid, especially once the feed behind the "Read some messages" button is ready.
After the "Create identity" screen, do you have links to signers or apps so a new user can jump in with the new identity?
Appreciate your great feedback, npub1wqfzz2p880wq0tumuae9lfwyhs8uz35xd0kr34zrvrwyh3kvrzuskcqsyn, I'll implement your "why you need" - proposal. About the "create identity" - I'm not sure currently if I build a mini chat into hubstr.org or link to primal or similar. Thanks a lot for your thoughts.
Think the "shared identity" topic is too complicated for a beginner. Going to start with a sentence like "Because your thoughts belong to you."
