And just like that I have my own simple, non-custodial, entirely self-hosted LN stack in seconds.

Bravo, amazing work Phoenix and 1f52b_xyz

If you want to test it out, don't tip me, tip the creator of this awesome LNURL tool 1f52b_xyz!

Once we finalize the Docker image + publishing for this and phoenixd, you will literally just register a domain, create a text file, run a single command, and have self-sovereign LN, LNURL, Zaps, etc.

Migrated my zap URL there as well already ๐Ÿ‘€

Tried to zap, but doesnโ€™t look like it went through.

Same, but looks like someone else was able to ๐Ÿค”

Works for me on amethyst

what Nostr client or wallet?

It failed on Primal. I was able to zap through Zeus by scanning your QR in the OP though.

And now a primal attempt just went through. ๐Ÿ‘

Yeah, I switched it back to my Primal LNURL for Zaps ๐Ÿ˜…

Good deal. Will be cool once itโ€™s all sorted out. Looking forward to your walkthrough on setup.

Ah, missed that Zaps don't work quite yet.

Will throw some extra sats at the dev in hopes we can get that added ๐Ÿ™‚

this is cool

nice

Wow!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Phoenix allows me to do so much more. I love it. Thank you for informing me about it.

Thanks for sharing!

How do you get inbound liquidity and what are the related fees?

Phoenixd handles liquidity for you automatically; so basically payments will never fail for a lack of inbound. But, thereโ€™s a fee you pay ACINQ for that service

Details here: https://phoenix.acinq.co/server/auto-liquidity

I read they just massively raised fees without being transparent about it

This is actually really cool. Do you really have full sovereignty over the phoenixd node and funds? Would running your own node (i.e. LND) give you better sovereignty?

Thatโ€™s really cool
