I’ve had decent luck with Zeus and their Olympus LSP. The occasional no route failure but overall better and easier than fully DIY LN node.
If you really dgaf and just want to mess with zaps, primal has a built in wallet that I think just needs a junk email address to get going. Fully custodial so I’m sure not what you want at all.
Good deal. Will be cool once it’s all sorted out. Looking forward to your walkthrough on setup.
And now a primal attempt just went through. 👍
It failed on Primal. I was able to zap through Zeus by scanning your QR in the OP though.
Tried to zap, but doesn’t look like it went through.

Do we have any OPNSense geniuses here?
Looks cool. I’ve had bad experiences with those little usb jumpers. One I tried from another company caused huge interference with wifi and any wireless usb devices connected. For important data I run a Synology NAS. I just can’t help myself from playing with the RPIs I own. Probably won’t buy more going forward.
Also just wanted an excuse to put one of these together 😅

SD cards are the worst. I’ve got one pi “mini server” running totally off SSD that’s been doing well. There’s probably better ways to do it but, tbh, I just like messing with the single boards and wasn’t ready to completely retire it.
Chrome will kill Ublock Origin and other adblocker extensions.
If you cling to chromium based browsers (Brave included), have fun getting ads and trackers, loser. Use librewolf/firefox like a big boy.

Just a normal connection. I have them create their own Tailscale login and share access to the media machine only.
Jellyfin is awesome. I share my server with a couple friends via Tailscale 🫡
Damnit.. wish I would have seen this before I just updated my zaps away.. any time frame on this working for non-TestFlight versions?
Will give this a go. It would make the device much more usable. But I probably not enough to seriously consider it as a daily driver. Its just not an enjoyable experience.
I’ve got a Linux laptop for things I want to do more privately and iOS / Mac for stuff I just want to work. I just don’t want to do the phone tinkering. Don’t like dealing with profiles and lack of notifications unless the right setting is toggled, banking app headaches, app stores that don’t work half the time, etc.
Not what I’m looking for in a primary use device.
It’s been years since I used exodus but IIRC I tested making a wallet there and restoring it in a few others and it did work correctly. Id be wary seeing an unexpected address. Exodus will create new sub-addresses for receiving but the base address should be one you recognize.
