I canāt say for certain, but possibly exodus uses different derivation paths?
I guess, you do you.. but normal password reuse is dangerous in normal online accounts without factoring in the financial aspect⦠now youāre putting 100% of your digital assets behind a single point of failure. š¬
To be fair, it isnāt even recommended to use the same key in multiple wallets of the same chain much less share a seed between multiple types of assets. This method would make me extremely uncomfortable.
Anysoft is pretty rough in other aspects and hasnāt received an update in 2 years. It crashed and glitched on me quite a bit.
And I *hate* the look of keyboards that have the gboard material design without designated key separations. Definitely couldnāt find one that worked for me.
Given Iām no Android wizard, but Iāve tried 3-5 different keyboards and they were all doing it. Itās infuriating.
Yes, thatās correct.
Donāt know what to recommend for you then. Iāve got 4-5 different wallets on my devices and none offer 12 or 24 as an option. All are 25 except for feather.
12 or 24 words is a bitcoin thing. Monero is different.
The actual typing experience is what Iām referring to. The Android āfeatureā that removes the space between 2 words when you try to backspace to correct a typo almost had me throw the whole phone away š
In my experience most are 25 word seeds. Feather wallet for desktop does āpolyseedsā which are 16 words. You can convert the 16 word polyseed into a standard 25 word within the app if you need to restore to a wallet that only supports 25 words.
Youāre not wrong. Tried graphene and bought a new iPhone within 2 days. Still have the graphene phone as a ātoyā but it wonāt be a daily driver.
*Subjective* - the android keyboard and photo edit / markup workflow is horrible compared to iOS.
Thatās awesome, maybe I can update now then š¤
Will do, appreciate the attempt.
Did the script actually add the zap button back into your app? I didnāt run it because I never updated to the version where zaps were removed, so didnāt have a need for it.
Just noticed my node is actually down, so that would explain one of your failed attempts š
Possibly their appimage or flatpak would work for you?
I'm not using any of the tested software as containers within the VM. I've been installing ubuntu 22.04 as a Proxmox container and doing the one line bash install command for runtipi/umbrel. Start9 is its own OS so that was installed on a Proxmox VM using their ISO.
I've tried both http & https on every attempt. But have not checked logs yet. I can see that for the docker based ones, running
Next I am going to try reinstalling Proxmox and set it to be on the Admin network to see if that changes the results. From what I remember, this is easier than trying to change the gateway on an already installed Proxmox system.
Thanks, Iāll try that.
No luck adding in a switch and putting the VM machine and my laptop on the same physical subnet. Could still ping and ssh into the Proxmox container but no web interface was reachable.
Good thought, will have to test this. Maybe putting a small unmanaged switch on the VM network port and plugging both NUC and laptop into the switch would be easiest? If the containerās web interface is reachable in this scenario, then I know itās likely a pfSense firewall rule causing the problem.
