Do I have to mute everyone commenting because it still shows me every comment?
I think you also need to mute subthreads

You don’t need to mute subthreads. If it has the original thread id it should mute it all
Unfortunately that hasn’t happened. The original one muted fine but the comments are still going.
I usually just log off of nostr when this happens. I like everyone but it isn’t my thing.
Yeah I’ve had the same issue for on Damus. I usually just keep muting the subthreads. Luckily I wasn’t included in this latest one.
I wonder if its because some broken clients are rerooting threads
