Yes! It helps them get noticed. Another feature I like is how snort.social allows you to "follow all" when you're viewing someone else's follow list. It's a good way to bootstrap your follow list, especially if you it's someone you interacted with a lot on Twitter. Odds are you would have a lot of overlap with their follows anyway. I think the lack of algorithmic boosting is a very novel experience for most people. It has become one my favorite aspects of nostr, but people are so accustomed to being fed content that they are surprised when they don't see it.
