Is it just me or is quickbooks online changing their UI way too often?

Anyone have experience using GnuCash? Any good? Any issues?
For this entity I dont need complex things or even integrated payroll, payment providers or invoicing. Simple double entry, account details, with basic reports is the core of what i need.
