Hey hey ๐Ÿ‘‹

Yes this came up during a panel about the regulatory landscape in SEA. Really interesting discussion as it's not completely dead. I love the solutions that are being created, for instance NeutronPay nostr:npub18d4ff8qrwfukdy2funzua2ayh9xplw4au2pajfcq8mntd6a5v2cq8acpd8.

I think there is still a lot of opportunity in the future for SEA countries. It'll be interesting to watch it unfold ๐Ÿ‘€

Discussion

I'm glad to hear that it's being discussed and am crossing my fingers that I can catch the recorded version later.

As to NeutronPay, I took a quick glance, and it looks great! I've known a number of folks from Vietnam, the Philippines, Mexico, Nigeria, and elsewhere who would love to use such a platform to send remittances, a few bucks for birthday gifts, and all sorts of other purposes.

Hopefully, NeutronPay will develop quickly!

Ohh that's great! Get your Vietnamese friends on NeutronPay. I am lucky to be verified and have a Vietnamese bank account set up. I have successfully paid my rent with NP and also transferred some sats to vnd and withdrawn to my back account. It's an excellent way to work with the existing regulations while slowly exposing people to the opportunities of Bitcoin ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงกโšก๏ธ
