🙏 it’s been years in Nostr-time but it will be worth it!
It took me over two months to get my nostream relay up and running. You had specified a requirement that wasn’t supported by my OS. So first they were just going to switch me to a similar server with a newer OS. But then I questioned whether there was a enough RAM in the new server. There wasn’t, so that meant a more major upgrade that also switched data centers. Then when the relay was kinda ready the guy doing the migration went on vacation for 2 weeks. 😖
I was hoping to be the first relay in the adult industry, but someone beat me to it. Best I could do was first LGBT relay.
#[3] that def sucks bud, let’s book a time and I’ll help you get it up and running 👌 unfortunately even though Nostream runs inside containers it still requires you to have a recent official Docker installed
I had to pause everything due to me moving to another city but that’s over and I am slowly getting back to full speed!
Thanks, but I did finally get it running. While the guy was on vacation another guy subbed for him and got it up. Just a few tweaks pending like turning on HSTS and possibly blocking a few countries where some of the content on my server could get someone killed. (Welcome to the world of homophobia).
